Rack-a-holics Unlimited Taxidermy (RUT) new taxidermy business recently founded in Wellsville by Dusty Kip. A computer programmer for an insurance firm, Kip created the business as a way to carry out his passion. Kip now offers inexpensive professional mounting of deer, elk, pheasants, even fish.
Kip said, “I have always loved hunting and being out in nature, it’s an escape from the workplace. When you finally shoot ‘the big one’ you want to show it off.” Kip said a lifetime of hunting is how he got interested in taxidermy. “I know the pride people feel when they take their dream shot, not only am I able to make money doing something I love but I help people display something they are passionate about.”
Founded in 2009, Kip looks forward to providing the hunters of Cache Valley with his service. Kip offers the full taxidermy experience including house calls to skin the animal as well as hanging the finished product on the wall.
