President of the Cache Valley Area Investors Association Preston Parker said, “Depending on a paycheck is risky while passive income or investing in things like stocks, real estate, commodities, and businesses tend to lead to increased financial options.”

Mastering passive income can be done through education and networking, this idea is what the CVAIA focuses on. Founded in 2007 by Preston Parker, there is currently no cost to join and members attend meetings held every-other Thursday in the Cache Chamber of Commerce 160 N Main St. Logan, Utah. Meetings discuss ways to invest time, assets, and experience to build strong foundations of financial independence.

The CVAIA practices time tested methods found in the ideologies of books including Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Wealthy Barber, The Millionaire Next Door, Atlas shrugged, The Automatic Millionaire, and The Secret.

Announcing the Social Media Club of Cache Valley
Learning and Sharing the tricks of Social Media

LOGAN, UT—New organization, Social Media Club of Cache Valley (SMCCV), acts as an outlet for professionals and the public to come together and learn about the growing social media. President Parker said, “The meetings are an outlet for discussion and networking with others involved in the social media arena”.

The SMCCV was founded in August of 2009 and is an offshoot of the social media club in Salt Lake City which was founded in January 2009. The club was created by seven friends who wanted to stay current with growing media outlets like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

Currently the SMCCV has around 50 active members and meets every second Tuesday. Februarys meeting is being held at Borders in Logan, the meeting will include discussion, sharing tricks, speakers and food. In addition every third month the SMCCV hosts a “Tweet up” where members can come togeather to tweet and have discussions via twitter.
